2.6.12-rc5-no1 Out of Ideas

I'm using plugsched for this release as it has been working well and
I have got no complaints from anybody. I'm using the new version 5.0 
Released a few days ago. Please note that staircase has been updated 11.2 in plugsched now.
Its not updated in plugsched version 5.0. Con Kolivas released a plugin that updates it
from 10.7 to 11.2 so go thank him =).

{ There are 5 available cpu scheduler you can choose from , either from the kernel config or by using cpusched="nicksched" in /boot/grub/grub.conf

Also available is the the option to change sched_base_timeslice variable.The recommended setting is 64 for desktop. In an earlier release I used
32 which didn't work too well. Tasks that needed a longer timeslice were not responding too well. limewire and amarok to name a few. 64 seems to
work very well. It is also what Nick piggins himself recommends for desktop. Remember you can also change sched_base_timeslice via /sys/cpusched/nicksched/
